Static Caravan Insurance And Critical Illness Cover

Static caravan insurance is generally like touring caravan insurance. Your static caravan may be parked on a holiday park or something similar and will generally be left unattended more times than it is being used.

Your insurance will normally cover you for accidental damage, theft, and damage such as storm etc. Again your contents will be covered and some insurance providers offer you cover for your freezer food and loss or damage of your keys.

Typically most caravan/camp/holiday parks require you as part of their terms to have insurance for both your static and touring caravan and may require proof of your certificate. When you have taken out a caravan insurance policy you must check that all of your details are correct as this forms your contract with the provider. It is also a good idea to check on the security requirement because in the event of a claim you need to prove you met all security asked for by the provider. You may also want to consider taking some form of critical illness cover as this will provide insurance for you should you suffer from one of a number of specified illnesses covered within the plan you take.
